Effron White - HALL OF FAME Artist NW Arkansas Music Awards (NAMA): Guestbook

Gary Moran

March 17, 2008

Hi Effron
I met you in Memphis at FA. We(Annierose and me) played right after you in Fredricks productions room one night (I think it was night). I am beginning to look at buying property in Arkansas and wondered what your opinions are about the best places to look. Annierose's mom is in Northern Miss so the eastern side of Ozarks looks closer . Thanks for any opinions.
ps. We dug your catalicious song.

thanks,
Gary Moran

Congratulations on playing Gruene Hall. I've been going there since 1994 and consider it a great venue.

Effron,

Just found out that you are playing here in Fort Worth in February. I will look forward to seeing you then.

I've been a stagehand for many years and The Bass Hall is a major place of work for me and my wife. Peggy does lights for the ballet and when the ballet is out of season she works operas and other shows.

She went to your web site and was playing YANKEE DIME and I came in and said, "I know that guy!"

I bet you are getting some of this cold weather too!

Good show at Good Folks. Emily, Susan and Dennis all added nicely to the experience. Dina was sorry she missed it (she was under the weather). I told how well everyone did. Susan's harmonies work well with your singing style, Dennis lead guitar parts really add alot to the songs, and Emily is always a rock there on bass, she is so solid on the stand up bass--plus here adeed humor. It was a good evening. Kudos to Mike Shirkey for having you play at Good Folks, he always has good shows there, you all held up the standard. Good Show.

Hey Effron, met you at Arsaga's with Greg Klymaa, you need to book yourself at the Whitewater Tavern or Grumpys here in Little Rock.

Nice site. I'm a fan of Arkansas and the Ozarks. The one time I was in West Memphis was with my Arkansas buddy Carl Alderson whose grandpappy claims to have written some song "Stoled by Marty Robins." I can't vouch for the validity of the accusation but I was right there at the Piggly Wiggly in Mulberry Creek when it was made. - Spook Handy, fellow musician.

Effron plays from the heart. His love for music is contagious. Effrons song writing is a true treasure for Fayetteville. Effrons original songs are the best part of his show, a reason in themselves to hear him. Effron is also known as the hardest working musician in Fayetteville, his songbook grows with his hard work and efforts. Keep on picking Effron, we''ll be listening.
